Wonderful!!! As I stated above, these traps are awesome. I find that the best time to begin is as soon as you see the first fly. Reason? Young, new flies are attracted and land/stick before becoming adults and mating. Used one last year and was surprised to see so FEW flies this year! More newly hatched flies trapped means fewer flies this year, and fewer nect year! No stinky dead flies to dump or trash. Also will trap cockroaches, gnats, bumble bees (try not to put them in the midst of flowers, butterfly (1), and even a bird who left some feathers behind. I like to monitor mine during the day that I can check progress. I also find 4' off the ground tp be the favorite height. Shade is fine. Good luck! Wonderful Farnam! Great Product! Again, Best I ever used!
Farnam provided these the previous 2 years we used them. They are by far the BEST IN FLY TRAPS!!! We put one out in early spring as fly population begins to appear. Mature adult flies are immediately trapped and then the newest additions to the fly population also get trapped! This is our 3rd year using these, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. No smelly traps to dispose of, huge capture capability of each trap, catches other pesky insects, easy to position, rain proof...Just the BEST!!! Ours last all spring, summer and fall! CANNOT TELL YOU JUST HOW EFFECTIVE, EASY AND AMAZING THESE TRAPS ARE. ALSO SEEMS THAT ONCE A FEW FLIES ARE TRAPPED, OTHER FLIES SEEM TO THINK IT IS A SAFE SPOT TO LAND! THE MORE, THE MERRIER! AS LONG AS THESE ARE MADE AND MAINTAIN THEIR QUALITY, SPRAYS, STICKY TAPES AND OTHER FLY TRAPS JUST CAN'T COMPETE!
The flies are horrendous this year. I put these traps all around my barn and change them out every 3 or 4 weeks. What a difference they make! My horses thank me.
I purchased two of these to help control flies in the barn. Thus far, they’ve been very effective. I plan to order more once these are full.
Best I have found for trapping biting stable flies
