Developed by Australian trainer John Patterson, the JP Korsteel Stainless Steel Copper Oval Link Eggbutt Snaffle Bit offers a classic Eggbutt design intended to allow for more consistent communication and is shaped to allow for more comfort in your horse's mouth.

Details

  • Curved for comfort: Mouthpiece is curved to reduce the "nutcracker"-like pressure on your horse's tongue and bars while avoiding contact with the roof of your horse's mouth. 
  • Stainless steel oval link: Bit is designed to encourage acceptance.
  • Consistent contact: Fixed ring offers consistent contact between you and your horse.
  • Sizing: Bit is available in 4 lengths; the mouthpiece is 13 mm.

    Great bit

    I hated always pulling on my horses mouth with a regular snaffle, so I thought I'd try this one. She accepts it better which is really nice and doesn't fight it.

    Dependable simple bit

    These are great bits for my 16.3 gelding. He is a cooperative boy and doesn't need a harsh bit to get his attention. This one seems to fit the bill, and he chews on it readily.
